"It's the The End of an ERA!"

Nothing makes me smile more than people who quote my favorite TV show FRIENDS.  If you are a FRIENDS-lover and quote it from time to time- Bless you!

But really, this does mark the end of an era.  Utah State Basketball has been a part of my life for a long time now-- since I started college! But more so since I became friends with my husband-to-be, and Matt & Tai.  Rarely have I missed a game and I've loved every minute of it.

However, all good things must come to an end.  We went to the banquet on Tuesday and watched the Seniors get their well-deserved honors.  It was Brad's last banquet as well since he is transferring to Westminster.  Although we have different feelings than those of the seniors, Utah State will always hold a place in our hearts.  It is where we met and where we had a TON of fun! The athletics were just a bonus :) Nonetheless here are some pics!

Brad says the thing he will miss most about Logan is his teammates (And Taco Tuesday at Cafe Rio of course :) ).  This is a pretty great group of guys that will be fun to see where their lives go in the near future!

WAC Champs!

Senior Night, WAC Champs, Brad hit a 3, what a good night! Here are some pics!

We have great friends up there on that team! Can't believe those guys are finally seniors.  It was a really fun night and only makes me more excited to go to the WAC tourney next week!

Logan: Good times, Great Friends.

Well I just got home from one of many visits to Logan... What a great weekend! The usual- Basketball game, hanging with Brad, music videos with Lys, Long convos with Melis- all my favorite things! You know, I went to school for 4 years up there and had a blast! I absolutely loved my time and more importantly my friends.  And now this year, I get to go up there a few times a month and do it all over again.  Honestly, it's a blast.  I've met so many new friends up there who are truly incredible people.  I'm completely impressed with the caliber of people that I'm surrounded by.  Now it is dinner at Tanesha & Megan's, dishes with Jordan :), taunting Matt in sacrament meeting, games at the Bendall's, Dinner with the Newbolds, and so many  more!

I wish there was someway to get the best of both worlds with the education I'm getting now in addition to living around all my favorite people! It kills me to leave every week.  But this is a choice I've made in order to learn as much as I can.... I'm glad I have the great friends up there and I'm grateful they let me come and go.  I'm also grateful for an amazing man who I can count on 100%. I couldn't love him anymore!

Logan will always hold a special place in my heart.  It's where I met a lot of my very best friends.  It's where I've grown so much! It's where I met my soon-to-be husband...

Merry Christmas!!

You know there really aren't a whole lot of things that are better than Christmas Break.  No school, no studying, family, basketball games, and time with my fiance :)  I love it! I just spent the week up in Logan at a few games and was able to see Brad play and witnessed his first collegiate point! My parents, uncle, aunt and cousins, and Brad's dad were able to come to some games as well! He played great, and more importantly he has an incredible support system in his teammates and also the crowd.  That was so cool to see.  Life is crazy and frustrating sometimes, but hey when you have good friends you realize that life is actually really good.  Brad and I both have great friends, but it was just especially nice to see that the other day.  Here a few pics!

So excited to be with him forever!

So now Brad is off on his 48 hour retreat home while I am enjoying time with my family here.  Christmas is tomorrow which is a little unbelievable, but I'm excited nonetheless.  Also can't wait for my favorite of our family traditions- Sushi night!! More pictures to come after that :) Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
