3 Years ago...

Ok, so I know this is a few days late, but it is worth it.  

Happy Valentine's Day!! 

 What a wonderful day.... You know it hasn't always been a wonderful day, until exactly 3 years ago... Yep.  As cliche as that is- Valentine's Day 2008 was the first time Brad and I kissed! 

We won't get into all the details, but let's just say it was a pretty great story :) 

I didn't realize it then, but I was falling in love with my future husband.  And that first kiss was exactly how they should be too.

 And I couldn't be any happier... I'm so lucky to have fallen in love with my best friend.  We've been through a lot together already, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store.  Brad, I love you with all of my heart and couldn't imagine anything without you!  Thank you for being the bright, shining light in my life and for making all my worries go away.  You are my world and I can't wait to marry you in a few short months!!

Not Fair!

Kauai 2009

That's right. HAWAII.  Brad just landed, called me and said ALOHA. How does this make me feel.... extremely jealous! I am in serious need of some SUN in my life, and some BEACH, and some hawaii.  ahhhhhhh.  The USU basketball team plays tomorrow night and then leaves right after, but still- I'd take a short trip to Hawaii over no trip to Hawaii. 

Well, while I wallow here in my textbooks and snow :(  I can at least pretend I'm in Hawaii... I'm going to go get a pineapple and put on some bronzer. That's the same right? NOT! Daaannnng it. Maybe in June? Who knows that might be the mystery honeymoon place that my fiance is withholding from me...  :)

But as for now, Hawaii is only a dream... I have to focus on the important things in life.... like the weekend- Woo! Pumped to Blake and Kenz this weekend! A little wedding planning and great friends- that actually might beat Hawaii.................!!

Enjoy Brad-- but this will be the last solo trip you make there!

Logan: Good times, Great Friends.

Well I just got home from one of many visits to Logan... What a great weekend! The usual- Basketball game, hanging with Brad, music videos with Lys, Long convos with Melis- all my favorite things! You know, I went to school for 4 years up there and had a blast! I absolutely loved my time and more importantly my friends.  And now this year, I get to go up there a few times a month and do it all over again.  Honestly, it's a blast.  I've met so many new friends up there who are truly incredible people.  I'm completely impressed with the caliber of people that I'm surrounded by.  Now it is dinner at Tanesha & Megan's, dishes with Jordan :), taunting Matt in sacrament meeting, games at the Bendall's, Dinner with the Newbolds, and so many  more!

I wish there was someway to get the best of both worlds with the education I'm getting now in addition to living around all my favorite people! It kills me to leave every week.  But this is a choice I've made in order to learn as much as I can.... I'm glad I have the great friends up there and I'm grateful they let me come and go.  I'm also grateful for an amazing man who I can count on 100%. I couldn't love him anymore!

Logan will always hold a special place in my heart.  It's where I met a lot of my very best friends.  It's where I've grown so much! It's where I met my soon-to-be husband...

Christmas Break

What a fantastic Christmas Break! Can I get an AMEN?? Loved every minute of it! Lots of time with Brad, lots of lunches with my friends I've been neglecting because of school, wedding planning, threw Blakely a bridal shower, cooking, FUN.  Thank you Christmas Break!

 So thank you break for being so incredibly relaxing! But I knew you couldn't last forever... First day back to class today-yikes! Am I ready for another semester of this? Ready or not...

Merry Christmas!!

You know there really aren't a whole lot of things that are better than Christmas Break.  No school, no studying, family, basketball games, and time with my fiance :)  I love it! I just spent the week up in Logan at a few games and was able to see Brad play and witnessed his first collegiate point! My parents, uncle, aunt and cousins, and Brad's dad were able to come to some games as well! He played great, and more importantly he has an incredible support system in his teammates and also the crowd.  That was so cool to see.  Life is crazy and frustrating sometimes, but hey when you have good friends you realize that life is actually really good.  Brad and I both have great friends, but it was just especially nice to see that the other day.  Here a few pics!

So now Brad is off on his 48 hour retreat home while I am enjoying time with my family here.  Christmas is tomorrow which is a little unbelievable, but I'm excited nonetheless.  Also can't wait for my favorite of our family traditions- Sushi night!! SO many things to be excited about! First of all- I got to have a first official plan-the-wedding day! And boy did it make me excited :) My wedding planner/ best friend and I went out to dinner last night and chatted it up! Kenz is an aspiring event planner and I think she might be just as excited that I'm getting married as I am!

And then there was the BINDER.  haha This is Kenzie's wedding binder she used when she planned her own wedding that is now on loan to me :) Talk about a great resource! Don't judge the binder!

We are both very organized girls :) But then once Kenz left, my Mom and I went and bought some additional resources. I mean why not live it up?

Let's just say it was a great night! Brad is currently in DC.  Utah State plays Georgetown tomorrow (actually on ESPNU).  So they are hanging out seeing all the sites!

And don't forget who else is in DC..... ROBBIE! Yes, my adorable little brother on his mission. It is killing all of us right now.  Not fair, not cool, I don't like it.  I'm just jealous!  So that is happening, currently, right now.  They are both there. I'm not.  DUH! By the time Rob gets home it will be 4 years since they have seen each other! Sad.  I wish somehow that my little brother could see his soon-to-be brother-in-law! One can only hope!

Anyway, life is great! I love the Holiday season!! Oh yeah, well Finals are coming up.  So that's not so great... haha only another 2 weeks and that will all be over! Can't wait to kiss this semester goodbye!
